The Welcome Home Initiative's programs are our gift to members of the armed forces and their families. We offer this retreat to thank them for their service to our country. Upcoming program dates include: August 3-5, 2009 and October 26-28, 2009.

 Relationship Strengthening Program for Veterans

Veterans and military families face many challenges in the transition from deployment back to civilian life. In order to support them, Strength at Home is offering two programs to help veterans strengthen their relationships, improve conflict management skills, as well as increase relationship satisfaction. These programs are part of federally funded research projects. There are sessions for couples as well as veterans only. The groups are held at:
The National Center for PTSD at the Boston VA in Jamaica Plain and Brockton
and
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus
